Deep-seated racial misgivings could cost Barack Obama the White House if the election is close, according to an AP-Yahoo News poll that found one-third of white Democrats harbor negative views toward blacks, many calling them “lazy,” “violent,” responsible for their own troubles.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

This story has been up for two days now…. the AP\/Yahoo news line NEVER leaves a single story up this long.\u00a0 Maybe they want to give their readers time to memorize it?<\/p>\n

I’ve already deconstructed this one here<\/a>.\u00a0 One other thought:\u00a0 maybe this is an innoculation against Obama losing the election.\u00a0 If he loses, the ground is being prepped to cry “racism!” instead of dealing directly with his weakness as a candidate.<\/p>\n

UPDATE:\u00a0 Now Geraldo is going to cover this.\u00a0 I would think that alone would be enough to embarrass anyone who takes this seriously.<\/p>\n
