The man responsible for your death is gone.
I pray his passing will help to ease the pain your family and friends have suffered for so long.
His legacy will forever be connected with the name “Chappaquiddick”… as it should be.
In the coming days I hope the words of tribute to him will be tempered by the memory of your terrible and untimely death.

And the ironic piece of this: American feminists have loved the deceased “lion,” yet his own abuse of power over a woman in his employ caused her death. He was “driving his 28 yr old aide” home, was he?
The point isn’t to bash the deceased. The point is to point out the enablers of people who abuse power, as long as their political agenda is “right,” even if their private behavior is exactly opposite.
